Baptism is the outward symbol of the inward commitment you have made to Jesus Christ.
Here at Journey Church, we believe and practice the New Testament ordinance of water baptism. Baptism is a necessary step in your spiritual journey of faith in Christ. Water baptism does not make you a believer, but it is simply an obedient response in expressing your new faith in Christ.
When you come to faith in Christ, an inner change takes place. Baptism is the outward symbol of your inward commitment to Jesus Christ. It is the first step of obedience in your journey with Jesus and a public statement of your faith.
Online registration will close two days before Baptism Sunday. If you are registered to get water baptized, please arrive 45 minutes before the service you would like to get baptized in on Sunday, October 6th, 2024. Once at our church, look for the Baptism Sign-Up table in the lobby. If you have any questions, please see one of our Dream Team members!
