We’re building a church that is all about making a way for others.
Once a year at Journey Church, on Legacy Sunday we receive our Legacy Offering, over and above our regular tithes and offerings, for the purpose of expansion. This year Legacy Sunday will be on Dec 11, 2022.
We always want to be a church that has more vision than finance. We cannot do everything, but all of us can do something and together the impact that we can have is greater than what we could ever have on our own. We pray that if you call Journey Church home, you are praying about what God would have you give to our Legacy Offering this year. Our vision is big, the need of our city is great and we are committed to always being a church that is blessed to be a blessing.
Five Legacy Lanes

Local Missions
We love the cities in Florida, especially our home here in central Florida, and we believe the cities where God has planted us near are our first responsibility. Through our strategic ministry partnerships, we have more opportunities than ever before to impact the people of our cities year round. Our team has vetted through these opportunities to find the most critical needs and most effective places to make a difference. We’re already doing a lot in our communities, but this offering will allow us to do even more.

National Missions
Our second area of focus is our great nation. We believe the local church is the hope of the world, and the best way to impact our country is by starting new churches and strengthening existing churches in the U.S. Through our strategic ministry partnerships, with the Church Multiplication Network (CMN) and Association of Related Churches (ARC) we are able to come alongside church planter’s dreams to start a life-giving church and reach their city with the message of Jesus.

Global Missions
Through our strategic ministry partnerships, we have the opportunity to raise up more leaders and plant more churches in the most critical places on earth. A few organizations we have been able to partner with is Mercy Mission (India), Convoy of Hope (Haiti), One Child (Ethiopia), Wycliffe Bible Translation (Indonesia), Indigenous Church (Nicaragua), Ability Tree, The Sharing Center, and many more. This offering reflects the heart of our God, who loves the whole world (John 3:16) and responds to the cry of Jesus to “go into all the world” (Matthew 28:19).

Next Gen
Next Gen is all about guiding young people in their faith. From infants to college students, we care about the next generation. These are the years of growing physically, mentally but also the times of soul searching in many ways, including deciding on a belief system. This is done by creating a welcoming environment, providing faith direction, intentional discussion, adequate facilities, education and tools to grow their relationship with God. Through Journey Kids, Journey Youth and Journey Leadership Academy (JLA), we help young people become not only believers but active participants.

Expansion
This offering accelerates the vision that we share here at Journey—to purchase our own permanent facility and start new campuses. Our second in person campus is scheduled to launch January 2023 in the East Orlando area.
