Connecting Leaders to Kingdom Purpose
What is the Legacy Team?
The Five Legacy Lanes of Impact
We love the cities in Florida, especially our home here in central Florida, and we believe the cities where God has planted us near are our first responsibility. Through our strategic ministry partnerships, we have more opportunities than ever before to impact the people of our cities during the holiday season. Our team has vetted through these opportunities to find the most critical needs and most effective places to make a difference. We’re already doing a lot in our communities, but this offering will allow us to do even more.
Our second area of focus is our great nation. We believe the local church is the hope of the world, and the best way to impact our country is by starting new churches and strengthening existing churches in the U.S. This offering will not only build life-giving churches that will change communities, but we are also planning a surprise “Christmas Blessing” for new church planters and pastors who are sacrificing their holiday with their families in order to do ministry.
Through our strategic ministry partnerships, we have the opportunity to raise up more leaders and plant more churches in the most critical places on earth. This year we will partner with Life Water and the church in Ethiopia to dig a well for a small village that has zero access to clean water. Not only will this help struggling families survive, but this resource will also create an opportunity to receive the world’s greatest resource, the living water, Jesus Christ. This offering reflects the heart of our God, who loves the whole world (John 3:16) and responds to the cry of Jesus to “go into all the world” (Matthew 28:19).
Journey Leadership Academy
Journey Leadership Academy. “JLA” is committed to answering the prayer of Jesus in Luke 10:2 when He said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” Our giving will be used to educate, equip, and empower JLA students to lead lives of eternal impact. We have a vision for young people between the ages of 18-25 to receive ministerial, leadership, and character building training. This year’s offering will go towards building a “home” for the inaugural incoming class by providing the furnishings of all our student dormitories.
This offering accelerates the vision that we share here at Journey—to purchase our own permanent facility and start new campuses.
